Classical Homeopathy is a form of alternative medicine using safe and effective natural remedies to stimulate the body’s inherent healing mechanisms. These are not the same as supplements or herbs, though they may be derived from plants, minerals, or animal substances. Homeopathic remedies are extremely dilute, and very safe. Homeopathy has been used worldwide for over 200 years. It is used to treat all manner of disease, whether physical or mental/emotional. For more information about homeopathic medicine, including links to research, visit the website of the American Institute of Homeopathy, HERE.

Osteopathic manipulation is a gentle form of therapeutic body manipulation. In our practice, a variety of techniques are used (including cranial osteopathy, the 'mother' of craniosacral therapy) to help the body regain proper structure/function relationships, and to improve health. For more information about osteopathic manipulation, visit the website of the American Osteopathic Association, HERE.

Anthroposophic medicine and nursing services are holistic forms of medical treatment for all types of disease. The anthroposophic view takes into account a person’s body, soul and spirit as being directly relevant to health and disease. A variety of anthroposophic therapeutic modalities are used in our practice, including natural remedies and nursing care. Mistletoe therapy is the backbone of treatment for cancer patients (see the page titled ‘Cancer Care’ in the menu at the top right of this page). For more information about anthroposophic medicine and mistletoe, visit HERE.

General medicine is always used when patient and doctor agree that it is the best option. This may include prescription medications, diagnostic testing and bloodwork, and/or referral to medical specialists. We also offer well child visits, and sports/school physicals.

Cannabis medicine is available for Ohio residents with qualifying conditions.

We spend time with you to help you understand how to get started with medical marijuana (cannabis), how to optimize your experience using the available products, and how to avoid side effects. Our patients consistently report that they are pleased with how thoroughly we educate them about medical cannabis, giving them a sense of confidence to get started treating their condition safely and naturally.

Under Ohio law, qualifying medical conditions include all of the following: AIDS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, cachexia, cancer, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, Crohn’s disease, epilepsy or another seizure disorder, fibromyalgia, glaucoma, hepatitis C, Huntington’s disease, inflammatory bowel disease, Irritable bowel disease (IBS...this is NEW as of 2023), multiple sclerosis, pain that is either chronic and severe or intractable, Parkinson’s disease, positive status for HIV, post-traumatic stress disorder, sickle cell anemia, Spasticity, spinal cord disease or injury, terminal illness, Tourette syndrome, traumatic brain injury, and ulcerative colitis.

In February 2021, the State Medical Board of Ohio determined the following conditions are considered covered by an existing qualifying condition: arthritis, chronic migraines, and complex region pain syndrome. These conditions were determined to be covered by pain that is either chronic or intractable.
